Words cannot describe how proud the staff is of our band this season. We watched students learn an instrument at band camp to playing amazingly five months later at Championships. We placed second out of seven places, with a score of 80.33. We haven't broken 80 in a couple seasons, which that in itself is a big accomplishment. In addition, the EHSMB also achieved High Visual and High Music.
Let's be proud of the work we have done, and be ready to tackle next season. A huge thank you to the band boosters, the district, staff and most importantly, the students for contributing all the time and effort necessary to put an amazing production on the field. School has begun! Now that summer is over, that means competition season is right around the corner. The staff is very excited to take our show to the road. Every rehearsal was important during the summer months but now that competitions are starting, they become even more crucial. We have changed the schedule this season so that we rehearse Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday instead of what it was previously, which was Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday.
If you have any questions or concerns, the staff is always here to help. Have a great start of the new school year! |
School may be out, but our work doesn't stop!
Summer rehearsals are very important for us! If you are a member of the EHSMB, then you are required to attend band camps and all scheduled events. This is the time where we create the show and get a majority of it done before school begins. All events and rehearsal times can be found on the calendar page.
If you have any questions or are planning on missing a rehearsal, you may contact us via the hotline and social media. There is also an absentee form on the forms page.

The Erie School District has been making changes in the area, including combining of the high schools. Even though this marching band has been a universal representative for the city, we are adapting to fully represent the Erie Royals!
